Comer Channel and Pudding Cut, Exuma, Bahamas

I just wrote a couple of blog posts with useful information for those who are thinking of transiting Comer Channel (from Long Island to the Jumentos) or Pudding Cut (west side of Great Exuma Island, between the banks and Exuma Sound).

Both transits can be challenging for boats with 6+ foot drafts. Our draft is 6 feet, so we looked for information online and found enough to take the chance. I wanted to contribute to the community by giving somewhat detailed descriptions of the depths we saw and the state of tide.

Comer Channel

Pudding Cut

Happy cruising!
