Chart Cutting

Hello to all,
I' m trying desperately to find out what exactly means"Posn taken from chart cutting".It seems it's a method to determine a nautical position.
Somebody can help?

Greetings and welcome aboard the CF, Nap.

The angle of cut is the angle at which two (or more) lines of position intersect on a chart.
If, at least, two LOPs intersect, we can construct a position fix. The optimum angular spread is 90° between two objects, or 120° between three objects.
