"BlooSee" Marine Information

I rather like the new Bloo See on-line marine information service updated and edited by the users in their own areas. Only your imagination limits the kind of useful information you can input for a visiting mariner.

Have a look for yourself: Explore the oceans - BlooSee

Only thing I miss is the ability to upload videos from your own sources,i.e. my Google cloud drive. Presently ONLY from Youtube, which means you have to upload your video to Youtube first, which takes a long time.

I have included the BlooSee link in one of my Brazil POI's for OpenCPN.

Re: "BlooSee" Marine Information

Now, you can actually, also post pictures and videos direct to BlooSee from links to your own Google Cloud drive.

I have been busy today making MY contributions to cruising areas I am familiar with, both in Brazil,England,Germany and Norway.

This is FUN !!

Re: "BlooSee" Marine Information

Another great feature is that you can select nautical charts in areas they are freely available to the public,i.e. USA,Brazil and New Zealand.

I have included BlooSee in my Brazil POI´s,for immediate access to ALL information without having to leave OpenCPN.

Re: "BlooSee" Marine Information

For registered users, there are also available nautical charts of the entire Bahamas.
(bitmaps, but easily converted) You also have wind forecast for most areas and you
can save your selected area as a quick link.

I spent many years sailing the East coast of England around the port of Harwich and the much loved Walton backwaters. Here is a link to videos and photos from that area.
Click the camera icon to start.

Explore the oceans - BlooSee

I encourage fellow yachtsmen all over the world to contribute with info, videos and photos from THEIR areas, making BlooSee a really useful mariner´s information source.
