Back Lighting

Over the years the single thing which has failed in my electronic devices has been the back lighting.

I have had a Horizon CP170 which the back lighting died after a couple of years and was replaced and now is dead again.. Not a very good rec for Standard Horizon.

But wait.. My Garmin Ique 3600 has done this twice and although they were repained under warranty... My backlighting has gone iffy yet again.

My trimble NavTrac.. my first GPS has a monitor which is virtually unreadable and too out of date to replace... but it works when you shine a spot light on the screen. It's been put to bed now.

Anyone else having backlight problems?
