B&G Vulcan 7

Hi,

Been previously using a handheld GPS connected via homeport on a Windows Pc, to create and manage waypoints and routes, etc.
Now installing a Vulcan 7, question is how do I get my routes and waypoints into the Vulcan?
We would be creating the race courses weekly at home on the PC, appreciate any guidance

Thanks,

Mark

Hello Mark! Were you ever able to find a solution for this? I just bought a brand new Vulcan 7 too and haven't installed it yet, but I was wondering if I'll be able to import my gpx route files created in OpenCPN to the Vulcan... couldn't find anything in the manual about this!

Exported from homeport onto a sim card, put the card into the Vulcan, then using the"files" menu imported into the Vulcan

Re: B&G Vulcan 7

I think he meant MICROSD.

I am wanting to do the same. I am not at the boat and need to take laptop/phone and establish wifi and see if I can connect to a drive on my laptop with the Vulcan 7. My Vulcan is in a pod at the helm and I can't get to the SD CARD slot easily.
