What winch for 28 footer

Hi. We have an old Contest (Connyplex) 28 here in Fiji. With age our backs are starting to whine a little so we are looking into an anchor winch. Limited anchor locker space. All chain (with a few shackle joins which I am assuming we have to get rid of) 60 meters 8 mm short link. Budget is limited. Quite like the idea of manual but from the videosmI have watched retreival is very slow and there are times when this just would not do. Advise onwhich direction to start looking please. Vinaka
