I've still got a couple of the gold line ropes, however these are army green line. In my old climbing kit, you made me smile, If you can't find what you need. I'd be happy to gift one to you, for your project.

Well...I ended up with 5/8" Manila line with 7 coats of urethane.

Great memories!

I too learned to climb on Gold Line way too many years ago. Nice and springy, but it sure was great when kernmantle ropes came out!

My first climbing and rappelling was on Gold Line rope too. Late 1960s in Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Learned mostly by trial and error...but survived anyway.
