I think your boat is already the size where I would go with a windlass.

My boat smaller, only 3500 kg light, sailing in and out of anchor as well as motoring not an issue. We just go to the spot and drop the hook.

Sailing out is piece of cake but you must take the spot where preferably there are no or few boats downwind from you.
