Questionable chain

Does anyone recognize the marking on this chain? It is 5/16" and stamped 3MX. I googled it, but couldn't come up with anything. We recently invested in a Mantus anchor and need to get some new chain to go with it. Just want to be sure the new chain will fit the windlass. Thanks- John

Re: Questionable chain

I'd break out the calipers & measure all of the pertinent dimensions on say 10 different links, writing them all down. Then average them out & compare them to industry standard chain spec's. Plus I'd post'em on here too, for feedback/other opinions.
