Opinions On the Forfjord Safety Anchor ?

Any opinions on the Forfjord safety anchor?

Forfjord Safety Boat Anchor Details

They appear to recomend heaver weight anchors for a given sized boat than the Delta, or CQR anchors. It looks like a modified stockless anchor of some sort.

Thoughts, opinions?

Their weight recommendations seem to me to be pretty similar to Manson Supreme and other anchors of this type.

Re: Opinions On the Forfjord Safety Anchor ?

Does not look easy to store in a typical sailing boat installation. Probably no issue on many powerboats.

Re: Opinions On the Forfjord Safety Anchor ?

I have doubts on the stability of this anchor: under a very strong pull, other stockless articulated anchors are known to flip on one side and come out. Danforth-style anchors (e. g. Fortress) have a stabilizing bar to prevent this.
