Lewmar Vertical Winch Issue

I have a 2005 Four Winns 328 Vista with the Lewmar windlass. The clutch slips and will not lift the anchor without help. What is the procedure for adjusting this? This is my first 30+ ft boat and I thank you for any help!

If it's like mine, you insert a winch handle in the top and tighten it up. Believe it's righty-tighty like most threads. The gypsy is held in place by friction generated by the nut at the top of the windlass. Pretty basic but effective.
