Lewmar Chain Counter

I can't seem to get my chain counter to read! It has been fine until the chain jammed upon deployment recently. After the quick fix of the chain it was stuck on 13.3 ft. I retrived the anchor and hit reset(based upon instructions in manual) on the ditigal helm gauge to 0.0. From that point forward it not worked. I have spoken to Lewmar customer service, but honestly, they didn't seem to be a lot of help. Has anyone got any ideas? Thank you.

Did your magnet fall out? Is your sensor still in place?

Appreciate you taking the time to offer some thoughts - Magnet is in good shape. Sensor I am not sure. I can't get a look at it. All I can do is feel around for loose wires. From what I can see and feel all appears to be good. I assume to get a full view of it I will need to approach from inside cabin. I am wondering if for some reason it needs to be calibrated again.
