Keeping swivels from unscrewing connecting mooring chain

Swivels that are in mooring chains, how do you keep them from unscrewing? I have used wire; it corroded off in a year. I used a nylon zip tie; it broke off from the movement of the screw being unscrewed in bad weather over time.
Ideas??

Like they used for ages: monel wire.

If you want something new: I've had good sucess with 3mm single braid spectra.

Second what the guy with the light saber said you can find it at most fishing stores, one small spool will last you years.

Re: Keeping swivels from unscrewing connecting mooring chain

Another big wear point is that point where the chain is connected to the mooring ball at the bottom of the ball. I have gone through two mooring balls in 5 years because the constant metal to metal rubbing wears the eye on the mooring ball down. It is also in an environment with a lot of oxygen and that helps to promote rusting. Any suggestions on how to reduce the failure at this critical point?
