Falcon Anchor Windlass

can anyone tell if Falcon anchor windlasses are any good particularly the LW500 which is a horizontal pull unit, and what size boat it's for looks like a good unit cannot fine anything on line regarding Falcon

The Falkon horizontal windlass is supplied with a 12 volt 1500 watt motor. Reversing motor allowing anchor to be released electrically as well as manually, sight glass for visual inspection of oil level. Rope Drum can be used independently of gypsy. Supplied with handle and control box.

Suitable for boats up to approx. 18m.

Made in special sea water-resistant light alloy, polished and anodised or with added protection of white polyester coating.

D.C. electric motor: 1500 Watt – 12 Volt.

Gypsy in marine bronze alloy for chain Ø 10mm.

Manual operation available, for use in case of emergency.

Maximum pull: 1600Kg (3520lb)

Haulage speed: 17m/min 100Kg.

Current draw: 90 to 120 Amp (12V).

Weight: 45Kg (103lb).
