Lehe Paine in the Eastern San Juans

We left here this morning- Eagle Harbor, Cypress Island, Washington, USA. It is aptly named, there always seemed to be at least one bald eagle soaring overhead, and at one point there were 5 in the air at the same time near our boat!

Wow, this is my favorite, BTW. It looks like we may be on the East Coast in about a year, so we'll have to check this one out!! My wife said she had a tropical marine science class there once...

Port Davey, Tasmania

Getting away from coral sand and azure waters: Clayton's Corner and the Celerytop Islands in Port Davey, on the SW coast of Tasmania. A beaut spot, but too damn cold most of the time!

Two from Maine - Damariscove Island and Mistake Island.

... no worries around here that a bikini might block your view of the islands.

Seattles best anchorage just so happens to be in a "no-anchor" zone.

Some anchorages might not be so great on the eye, or photo, but be special in some other way.

This bay in Bademli Limani, Turkey has a half circle of rocks placed on the beach. Looks a bit like a waterlogged camp fireplace!

You dig out the sand and fill the holes in the rocks and suddenly it all heats up! Its a natural hot spring!!!! Temperature control by adding a bit more sand under your bum or digging more out.

And the view of your own boat sitting happily resting
