We carry 3 anchors now. We carried 4 when rtwing.

We only ever used 2 at one time. I think then 2 anchors are enough and I think having 3 is fine because it may happen that you will lose one in a place where your shopping options (or chances) are very slim.

PS We never lost any so I think one anchor is enough too when your cruising is more limited.
