Re: Anchor retrieval system

Hmmm ok I am thinking about it... I've seen other iterations... so the same questions apply.. is it strong enough, will it work reliably every time and what's the chance it will disconnect when it's not supposed to?... in any case with my danforths I can see how 1/2 the time it would not work since if the anchor set with the chain underneath it, you likely would not be able to pull it back out. The chain would presumably slide under the shank and snag the stock. You might get lucky and have it pull it back out at an odd angle off the stock. For me I'm not sold on it. For the newer gen anchors, yeah, ok, maybe ok, as long as the shank and chain aren't buried.

Re: Anchor retrieval system

Buy and learn to use scuba gear, eventually you'll need to use it for other tasks as well... like clearing a fouled prop and anode replacements.
