WaterTender 9.4 on a Catalina 30

Was wondering if anyone has experience with using a WaterTender 9.4 hard dinghy on their Catalina 30 (or equivalent sized boat/foredeck). Specifically whether it can be stored on the foredeck and if stowing on the foredeck is practical. It seems at best to be a tight fit on the foredeck assuming it clears the bow pulpit. Appreciate any insight.

I should also add that the dinghy is to be used on "weekend warrior" trips as a means to reach the beach when anchored off the barrier islands in MS. Definitely not a family car type scenario. I'm leaning towards the WaterTender 9.4 due to it's price and size. I like that the rowing ability of hard dinks reduces the need to keep an outboard running that sits most of its life. They seem to be more child proof as well.

If the water tender is too tight lengthwise, other options in very stable small craft might be a Livingston. They are pretty common, cheap used and durable. I think they came in many sizes down to 7+ feet.
Of course a Foldboat might be the most convenient for your stated use.

Have seen the Livingstons but can't seen to find any under 10'. I appreciate the input!

We have and love the Watertender 9.4, but it fits easily on the flush (flat) deck of our csy 37 when it can't be towed, like crossing the gulf stream. It ain't gonna fit on your foredeck without being a hazard. If you're not into inflatables, I highly recommend the portabote.
