I wouldn't worry about 20 days. But I will say that people who earn
money repairing inflatables love PVC boats. That was a serious comment I got from such a shop.
PVC is the easiest to
repair, and needs a lot of it. Hypalon
repair is best with some practice. I would never own a
Zodiac. And
wood floors are too heavy for me to justify. But all the different floors have their pros and cons. Delataing and inflating a
wood floor dink is not something you want to do very often. You can't beat an Achilles for quality or design.
Having said that, my
current inflatable is a "go fast"
Avon with
inflatable keel and roll up floor. Couldn't pass up the deal and I like its features. But I use my Walker Bay sailing dink a lot more. Sail if for fun,
motor it for hauling and row it when I..... humm. I don't row it very often. Requires more motivation than I can muster.
