Tamaya sextant

I have a Tamaya 833 Sextant in a wooden case - year 1979. I would like to determine the value of it. It appears to be in perfect condition although there is something missing from the case - there is an empty hole in the packing material. It has a small manual and a key.

I would appreciate any input on how to determine the value, whether it has any special features, or how to find someone who could assess it for me.

Tamaya metal sextants in excellent condition should bring about $400-600.

Also on EBay there is a Tamaya 1712. Tamaya 1712 Aluminium Nautical Sextant Decor Antique Sextant for Gifts Craft | eBay
However, I can find little info on it and it is quite cheap ... advertised as a reproduction. However it is aluminum and brass. Does anyone have any knowledge about the quality of this one?
