Salter Dinghys - Any Knowledge ?

Their website is: Welcome to Salter Watercraft

They seem to be a Calgary , Alberta company, yet their factory appears to be Asian (Chinese).

I did a google search and came up with nothing relevant.

Has anyone personal experiences with these?

Yes, I was aware of Livingston.

I still hope to find someone to discuss Salter.

Just a wee little bump to see if there are new sets of eyes on tonight who might have some input.

Re: Salter Dinghys - Any Knowledge ?

If I was able to give this product a MINUS OR NEGATIVE 5 STARS then I would.
In July 2014 I bought a Salter Watercraft 320 Sport inflatable dinghy with removable wooden floor. Starting in January 2015 I used it in Mexico for 3 months each year as a ship's tender with it being deflated and stored inside for the rest of the time.
Assembly was an exercise in frustration -- difficult and time consuming.
It did not take long before it started to fail.
In its first year it developed a leak in the port tube which made me wonder about its fabric strength.
By the 3rd season the various 'rubber' attachments to the tubes (such as the oarlock bases and rope attachments) started to lift and peel off.
By the 4th season ( February 2018), the transom started separating and peeling off of each of the rear tubes, revealing what I considered to be only a minimal amount of glue or adhesive having been used.
At this point I consider that I now own what I consider to be a useless piece of junk.
This is not my first inflatable dinghy. My last dinghy ( a PVC dinghy from a different manufacturer) lasted in similar conditions for 10 years before it started to fail.
