RULE Charge N' Flow Portable Pump Kit

Anyone used RULE Charge N' Flow Portable Pump Kit?
Being a gadget guy, this looks like something I might use. BUT, 99 bucks is a bit much when compared to $20 manual pumps. If I make the plunge would use the rechargeable batteries to do the job and not 12v battery clips since dinghy has no battery.
