rib 310 delamination

so I have a west marine rib 310 purchased in November of 2017

the Hypalon strip between the transom and the floor of the rib has delaminated to the point that it is holding water between the fabric and the transom on one side
the other side has delaminated but not to the top so no rain water is impacting it

Obviously with running an outboard , albeit a 3.5 HP, I am concerned about integrity

I am putting in a warranty claim but would be interested in anyone else who has encountered the problem

I should mention it is on the cockpit side of the dinghy not the exterior
