Recommendations on SeaMax 10.5ft dinghy

My husband and I dock our boat in a marina and need a dinghy to get to the little sand bars and play or look for shells. Saw the SeaMax and thought it looked like a good one.

Any recommendations or comments on this dinghy? Hard bottom, sstl rings. It looks pretty sturdy. But we don't want one so nice we have to worry about someone steeling it when we aren't around.

Re: Recommendations on SeaMax 10.5ft dinghy

I am looking for info on the Seamax also. Just bought a used one to replace our Caribe that has slow leak, and was smaller. The Seamax has an aluminum floor, and I noticed some water between flooring and bottom? Any info , good , bad , or ugly appreciated, the deal is done, but could use any heads up on using it.

These are PVC boats. Very short-lived. Get a hypalon boat if you want it to last more than a few years.

Yes very short lived, like opened seam, gave it to someone who had time and knowledge of big repair. Just ordered new from West Marine, I am happy!
