Older Achilles dinghy

A local seller is offering me what he says is a late 1980s Achilles Sport GT hypalon boat. 10' long overall. This is the style with the single tube going all the way around including across the stern. Stored indoors and lightly used on a local lake. Wood slats, motor mount, and seats appear to be in good shape.


Anything I should be aware of regarding these? It's reasonably priced and holds air.

If its hypalon and in good condition it could last for years. My Avon dinghy might outlast me with care.

Late 80s? Pfft... That's late model for a hypalon Achilles. Mines a 1982 and looks good as new since I also store indoors and infrequently use it on my Lake Superior trips.

Nothing to worry about. Parts are available, valves are available all good.
