I just got a new mercury 280 RIB. Thrilled with it. I put an 8 Hp merc on it. It does 21 with one or 17 with two. It amazed me how well it takes the water. Just under $2000 delivered. A lot of boat for the money. I put it on our carver 450 Voyager. Fits real well.

I bought a 2012 310 RIB (now called 300) and I'm pleased with it. Like you say, it takes the water very well. I like the light weight.
