Market for an older liferaft?? Plastimo six person Transocean

I was curious if anyone knows of a betterway to market/sell a liferaft, aside from the obvious craigslist options. I have a Plastimo six person transocean raft. It was out of certification so I took it into a shop, in Canaveral. It inflated and held air fine although the firing mechanism for the filer was a little tough to initiate. It needs some tape and glue work on the floor seams and can be fully recertified for $2000. I'd be willing to sell it for $400 to cover the new hard case I bought, shipping and the inspection fees.

I just listed an old 6-man Avon life raft that came with my boat on Craigs List yesterday for FREE. Had my phone ring off the hook, and it was picked up within a few hours. I was happy to get rid of it, as it was very heavy, and needed to be re-certified.

I wish I had thought of donating it to a good cause. Oh well.

You can donate anything sailing related to that organization....they are still working on a charity to sponsor them so they can't issue receipts just yet....but soon
