limmer,

I don't have an arch on my boat, but here are some links to photos of some Island Packet arch installs. Use the "Search" function to find more.

Island Packet Photos (Arch w/wind and solar - Album_ID 439)

...how about this?

Sorry, I could not resist.

There are a number of boats like Hunters that have them. You could always have one custom fabricated out of stainless tubing. I do hope you find something that works out Limmer.

thanks hud3 all those arches look nice and seem to be very functional and david no worries that was pretty funny. I guess what i was looking for is a web page of a detailed description on how an arche was built ie. stainless tube or alluminum and what wall thickness done by a fellow cruiser. i have seen others on different topics but not this one.
