location of lifting rings

Hi all I'm in the process of refinishing my inflatable dingy and want to install d rings to use to raise the dingy on davits. Can anyone tell me the location of the lifting points on an inflatable with an air floor. I would think two points would be on the transom but not sure the location for the forward ones. Any help would be great.
Thanks

Does it have tow rings on the bow?

I would go for the lower transom on the inside for the stern. You want the strongest part of the boat for the rings as it bounces a bit in the davits. I also add another line to keep it from swaying around too. Having it as low as possible allows you to hoist it as high as possible. Get the bow up and pull the drain plug. If you can rig a cover thats not a bad idea either.

Yes you would but if you don't have them I'm not sure of the best way to make them strong enough. Making a belly strap through the tow rings would at least be something better. Attaching to a soft ring isn't enough to carry it with as far as I know. My RIB has lifting rings, butmy other boat is a hard dinghy and wasn't built for lifting so I use two belly straps in addition to the home made lifting rings. You need a way to make sure the bow strap does not slip over the end and well - you know.
