"Do you happen to know what compression they are running at?"
No I don't. I once asked them about dual fuel and was told the compression was too high for a Lehr to run on gasoline. I think the spark is advanced as well.

They do seem like really convenient little motors to have. The little outboards are pretty much all cheap to run. Even if propane were 50% more expensive to run than gas, which is a fictitious number that I just pulled out of thin air, it's still pretty cheap to run.

The dink is a zodiac 311 RIB. It is in salt water but its really to soon to even comment on corrosion. And yes hopcar. we do get lucky sometimes.

By the way, where is your closest location to Palm Beach? The last time that I went to look for one of your stores, I got the address off of the internet & when I arrived, it looked as if you had moved out of that building.

Jim, Yup we closed the Palm Beach store last July. I'm down to one store, Miami, and a website. I was up there yesterday cleaning out the building. It's very sad for me as there was a lot of history there. I found a sales ledger from 1929. There was a transaction recorded for a twenty something dollar credit to John Rybovitch. If you buy a motor, it won't take much to talk me into delivering it to Palm Beach. I love it up there.

Mike and Shane, the guys who ran the store have started a marine supply delivery service. They have the old phone number and a sign on my building. Nice guys and very knowledgeable.

Geeze, I was just down in Coconut Grove last night to listen to a DEP guy speak about coral reefs. If I had known where you were, I would have stopped in to have a look around.
