I Want One !

This looks like a great way to get around, but not in a tight anchorage.
It takes foiling to a whole new level.

Looks like a lot of fun. That was the Miami River he was playing in.

Probably really well. There is a guy in my harbor right now kite boarding on a foiling board at like 60 mph in a 2’ chop and the board is dead level. Doesn’t even look real lol

As far as price goes I’m sure we’ll see Chinese knock-offs on Amazon for $300 in a few years...

Seems like all of those components are available off the shelf. It can't be that hard to cobble something together.

It's just that... all the really amazing acts of foilage that I see seem to be done by skinny teenagers... which I am not

This is the problem with early adoption of any new technology or device. The early adopters pay for the R&D.

We can look back to the $1,000 CD player in the early 1980's. The $20,000 flat screen TV in late 90's.

Re: I Want One !

I have seen one being used off Centennial beach BC /Boundary bay. Yes He is getting pretty good at it, However; my observation is that it takes a lot of falls and practice to obtain the type of skill level shown in that Miami River video
