Halkey-Roberts V90000 "Alpha" Inflator

On my never ending quest to rehabilitate and otherwise make useful again several older PFDs, I find myself in search of a replacement for the older 85000 series Halkey-Roberts infator body (I thought it might be nice to upgrade to a 90000 series since they seem to mate to the same PFD attachment device (notched inter tube style nipple].

Anyway, I'm getting the run around with certain on-line suppliers that advertise having the inflator body insisting that the maker has unrealistic stocking expectations while the actual maker Halkey-Roberts tells me that they're prohibited by regulation from selling the inflator bodies absent of a complete retail package from a thrid party "brand" (the whole thing seems like everyone is trying to scam out of liability while screwing the customer in the process).

So... if anyone knows of a source other than the maker or inflatablepfd.com, please share.

I've attached some pictures to provide additional illumination as to my situation (part of the motivation to swap the inflator body is that I have a nice inventory of cartridges with 1/2" threads and a number of inflator bodies that take 3/8" threads (and generally, I'd just like to state for the record tat the PFD industry is pretty screwed up).

No, never had any luck and tried searching everywhere. Still have the jacket in the closet too hardheaded to give it up.

If you're intersted I'm giving up on the 850000 valve body and will part with the Mustang jacket and valve body. Let me know.

Yeah, all my inflators are 3/8" co2 compatible. I'm calling Halkey tomorrow... We'll see. The cost of rearming is forcing people to go manual which defeats the purpose of buying these.
