Espar D4 Annual Maintenance ?

What annual maintenance do you do on your Espar? We ran ours extensively last winter (damn cold winter) and it worked perfectly. Now I want to prep it for the same experience this winter.

Spares? Consumables? Tune up?

Suggestions please!

Thanks Gord, some stuff I had not seen before. Don't know why.

I still hope to get some 'local knowledge.'

Re: Espar D4 Annual Maintenance ?

Run it on kerosene periodically. I use a gallon once or twice a season. Don't let it run for long periods at low heat levels. I turn mine off at night and get up to turn it on if I get cold. You really want it to run at full bore regularly to keep the combustion chamber clean.
