One of the benefits of tidal mooring is that can usually tip the dinghy up (Plastic square thing - not a cruising dink).

But I still keep my eye out for solutions..........

I once had a dinghy that was just a chunk of foam. It was definitely self bailing, unseaworthy, terrifying, and a paragon of simplicity.

FWIW, our marina simply placed a bilge pump and battery in the sole of their float boat...

I have an 11' whaler for my dinghy. It is self bailing with the plug out, even with a 25 HP on the back. But, once you climb on board, you have to put the plug in or get wet feet.
