Re: Binoculars

I live in the town where they are made....can even see the factory from Mum's kitchen window. Not that anyone would send their binos to an unknown stranger....but then you don't have to, here's the service page from their website in English:

STEINER-Optik | Binocular | Customer Service | Service

and in German, where you find the service charge according to objective diameter in a table:

STEINER-Optik | Fernglas | Kundenservice | Service

So for 7x50, you're hit with €124.

Any translation help you need, let me know....

If someone knows where you can actually get repair work done, please let me know. I love the quality of these binoc's, and I want to get them fixed, but will probably not recommend them due to repair issues.

Sorry, I didn't see your note earlier....

I've had Steiner repairs done by the original importer... and then more recently "upgraded" by the more recent importer (the originals were no longer repairable).

The current website here Steiner lists steinerrepairs@burrisoptics.com as a current e-mail address via Burris in Greeley, CO.
