Re: Time for new sails

Peter Grimm of Doyle lofts in Ft Lauderdale is making our new sails and so far I couldn’t be more impressed with his service. He’s super knowledgeable (he was sailmaker of record on a Volvo race and done a bunch more racing and cruising). He will educate you about the material choices and knows more about sail shape than anyone I’ve ever talked with. He’ll need to know where and what type of sailing you are doing.

Nesscapade, how did they handle measurements for your sails? Did they have a local rep? We keep our boat in Muskegon, and need a new suit of sails.

Not sure who you were asking, but we keep Lotus in the Bluffton Mooring Field in Muskegon Lake.
