So, the new sail is a beastie. I'm still working out sail controls etc.
It certainly is a LOT harder to flake on the boom, and I am concerned about over creasing a fabric
that is somewhat more delicate than Dacron. I am halfway considering a stack pack sort of arrangement. I was thinking about building it from the Sailrite
And yeah, I understand that there will be some performance hit with weight and windage. I might be willing to suffer that to gain ease of use.
Whaddya think guys? Just build a bigger sail cover
and maybe increase the lazy jacks? Or stackapacka? As it is right now, I raise the boom to the higher mast
fitting before dropping the main....
