Spinnaker pole got jammed

Hello to all!
My spinnaker pole was not used regularly enough, and now one side just won't budge.
I tried WD-40 and some other greasing options to lube it up and pry it loose, but to no avail.

Any cruisers secrets to deal with this issue?

Penetrating oil and time on the plunger. Once you’ve spritzed it daily for a week or two, hit the outboard end of the plunger with a punch and hammer. It’ll start working back and forth now and you can work more lube in.
