"Spartite"; anyone used it?

Anyone familiar with Spartite? It a 2-part polymer used between the mast and collar where the mast passes through the deck. We had cedar chocks previously, but Lisa wants something less ugly / agricultural... any feedback appreciated.

Brion Toss recommended it for my boat. I put it in myself - it was fairly straight forward, and seems to seal well. Sort of works like a big cork, and can be pulled out intact if you need to pull the mast, then plugs right back in when re-stepping. It's a very dark blue color when cured, but is paintable.

I used it when I had my Irwin 38. Works fantastic.
