Slipped compression post

Hi all,

I'm looking at purchasing a 1994 Hunter 33.5. After removing the inspection panel for the compression post, I found what looks like a slipped fitting between the deck plate and the post. My rigger is coming out tomorrow for an inspection but I thought I'd check with forums for some feedback.
