Screecher to a Sprit,or to a Bow ? Furler make

Good day.Planning to add a schreecher to my cat. I calculate the size about 600sq.f
Should I make a sprit and weld it to the forebeam ? Or, just attache the furler to the bow eyes ? First option seems to be easier to store and set it to fly. Second - less expensive and, maybe better tacking angle ?
Furlers for fly sail: Selden, Harken,Profurl,Facnor. The last (model FX2500)semms to be the cheapest. Is it the way to "pay twice"? Or it's a reliable brand ?
Thanks & regards!
