San Juan 28 Main Halyard
We own a 79 San Juan 28, it has the original wire main halyard. the problem is at the other end, the line is short and worn, I would like to replace it with one line. Does anyone know if the sheave can handle a 3/8 line if I just pull it through. I really don't want to climb the mast and look. And my wife refuses to climb for me.
