Sail slides for Endeavour 37

We have recently gotten an endeavour 37 that we are in the process of refitting. My main is in good shape except for some slides that need to be replaced. I am going to go on and replace all of them (except for the head and foot slides as they are SS.) As near as I can tell the old ones match up with the Bainbridge nylon A009 guides that are 1 3/8 by 7/8. My old guides are sewn on with nylon webbing...I was thinking about going back with nylon shackles with SS screws...my question is what kind of slides and shackles would you all recommend. Are the nylon ones stout enough? I appreciate the input.

Nylon shackes are a temporary fix. Have new slides attached properly if you don't want trouble at the worst possible time.

Re: Sail slides for Endeavour 37

Ask yourself why essentially all sailmakers sew the slides on with webbing rather than using the cheap plastic shackles? These guys want to do things quickly and economically, but take the time to do it right. You should too! I'm no sailmaker, but I can do the job in less than 5 minutes per slide, and for a few cents worth of materials. You should too!
