Roller Furling/Reefing.

Hi, Just a "Newbie" at this forum thingy, but over the years I have bought many things as advised by salespersons.. Goose.... aren't I?

I am going to fit a reefing/furler on my inner foresail and would like any advice re what's good, and/or which ones to avoid.

Thanks to all, Rob.

Welcome to the forum Rob.
Can you post any pictures of Proud Mary.
I have only a furling jib and have had no problems with Profurl.
I am starting to see a lot of furling Stay sails...but dont have any first hand experience.

Hi James, I have used Profurl before on a smaller vessel, but the one on my headsail came with boat and is of some unknown brand. It works OK, but as I do a lot of single handing I don't want to buy a lemon... hence my queries.

Photo, yep, already up, just not published for some reason.

Will let you know when published as I just joined a few hours ago.

Regards, and thanks, Rob.
