Rigging Advice in New Zealand

Anybody have any ideas where someone (me) can obtain Norselay (the UV stabilised polypropylene extruded galvanised high tensile rigging wire)(way too many adjectives) here in Godzone? I've emailed the manufacturers in the UK a few times but have received no reply. I can't praise the Norselay too highly; OK a little larger in section because of the poly, but virtually indestructible. I await the replies. Thanks.

Re: Rigging Advice in New Zealand

I had my shipment of Norselay sent to me in Whangarei about 6 years ago. The contact at Brunton Shaw in the UK was Phillip Matthews. Very cooperative; sorry you are having trouble. How will you terminate the wires?
Also NOT virtually indestructable. Take care to avoid side loads and wear spots on the poly cover. I added terminals at the spreaders to avoid this problem. I also have 8mm Norselay for my lifelines and some of the poly is wearing through where they go through the stantions. However it is repairable with a small blow torch you can "weld" the damaged area, so save the poly pieces you cut off the ends to terminate the wires. Any more tips? Let me know.
