Replacement for Lewmar 25 winches

I have a 1977 Catalina 30. I would like to replace my Lewmar 25 2-speed winches with self-tailing winches. Any suggestions for replacements would be appreciated. Is there any chance that I could find replacement ST winches that would fit the same footprint and save me the trouble of putting new holes in the deck?

holes are the least of it. Make backer plates for both sides and seal/pack the old holes. You can often find winches of that size used and in good condition. In our area Wolfs Marine-Home has winches I have seen. Nice people - call them. Our Marina, Torresens in Muskegon also hase good used winches. Unless they have been abused, they are nearly indestructable. Parts from Lewmar - Lewmar Winch Schematics

You might also find that the self-tail parts can be added to your winches although, that vintage may not be available.

Is it possible that a call to Lewmar may reveal that the hole ptterns are unchanged?
