Replace Sheaves

This sheave is from a triple block. 1.5 outside dia, .5 thick, .5 inside dia. No indication of manufacturer, block may be a custom job. Any ideas where I can get replacements? Thanks, Roger

Re: Replace sheaves

I now see that it is likely a Schaefer Deck Organizer with 2 inch sheaves, part number 505-81. Hoping I can get the sheaves instead of shelling out 140 bucks.

Re: Replace sheaves

Worth the effort to research for sure. I did that with two Scheafer jib sheet sheaves. This was the type on sliders. Repair cost $30 instead of the $300 for complete replacements.

I had to dremel the rivets off, then replace with stainless bolts to reassemble. Didn't bother me in the least considering the savings.

The sheaves were in stock a West Marine once I figured out what I needed.

Good luck.
