I know it's been a while since anyone posted on this thread/topic, but I was wondering if anyone had a photo they could post to clarify. I have a pretty good idea of how it should work, but I am wanting to use my pole as a staystail club, and not sure if I can use my staysail traveler as a deck block. Not sure if I should use it as a foreguy or try to use the sheeve on the strut as a boom bale. I have a Southern Cross 31, and this pole (made by forespar) came with the boat. A picture might help me out as I have only sailed a few times, and have only had my boat out once, since restoring it. I have not used the staysail yet, because I don't have the staysail boom. I know I can fly it without, but going downwind I would like to use this pole if possible.
