Query Headsail Furling System

I have a 1930 34ft south west coast one design. i wish to modify the headsail system to a manual headsail furling system.
can any one help with this?

Jades,

I recommend checking out Facnor. They are well made and if you plan to install yourself, far easier than most. You don't even have to cut a foil section. You can install without going up the mast. Since it goes together easily, it's also easier to service. Facnor is well regarded in Europe but not as well known in the states.

If you are going to use a rigger, I recommend buying the furler from the rigger. That way , you can be relatively assured you'll have a working furler at the end of the day. Since he or she is the single source, it's up to them to make sure it all works.
