Ain't that the truth. I pulled several out of the book shelves a few months ago and came up with so many good ideas my to-do list ballooned so much I had to do a serious trimming during the last snow.

Here is a picture of my fake pinrails on the W32. This is a modern adaptation, the pins are fixed and the assembly fits onto tabs attached to the mast pulpits. This type of setup is available and can be adapted to affix to shrouds with a little imagination. I also have schematics for traditional belaying pins if you wish to fab yourself and keep traditional. A nice touch would be to make some pocket boards that would mount traditional navigation lamps and attached to the backside the pin rail with pins, all on the shrouds.

It came with the boat when I purchased it. I will do a little snooping around to some of the classic boat chandleries. The other thing is that simple pin rails out of white oak are very easy to make, basicly just shaping large wooden dowels and gluing into a shaped and sized wooden board. I have done this in the past for a wooden sailboat boats I built.
